


18-way Weatherproof (IP66) DIN Rail Enclosure
These enclosures areĀ ratedĀ for inside and outside use. They have applications in hydro and solar PV. They acceptĀ standardĀ DIN rail breakers. We also sellĀ 1-poleĀ andĀ 2-poleĀ DC breakers. For example a 4 way enclosure will accept 4 x 1-pole or 2 x 2-pole breakers.
The enclosures we offer are:
- 4-wayĀ 141x209x102mmĀ
- 6-wayĀ 165x200x101mmĀ
- 15-wayĀ 308x198x106mm
- 18-wayĀ 380x228x111mm
- 24-wayĀ 277x380x110mm
If using them outside make sure cables enter and leave from the underside with suitable cable glands to maintain the IP66 rating.
They can also be used for mounting largeĀ bus barsĀ as might be needed in your system.Ā Bus barsĀ are often needed to gang common +/-/earth connections together. On larger off-grid system these bars may need 250, 500 or higher amp ratings.
Note: if wiring your own system in NZ, you can do so for voltages up to 120 VDC (ELV) if you have suitable knowledge and experience. For LV systems (>120 VDC) this is prescribed electrical work andĀ it must be done by a licenced electrician.
